Swindon Outlet is one of the smallest department stores in the John Lewis & Partners portfolio, specializing in the sale of home clearance items.  

 

North Star Security Consultancy Ltd were employed by John Lewis & Partners as part of the project team to design new CCTV and intruder alarm systems.

 

Our brief was to introduce a higher level of security to a building which had previously very little, whilst maintaining a balance with the aesthetics of the beautifully renovated  historic engine sheds of the Great Western Railway Works, which is a Grade II listed building.

 

This included full design of proposed installation, in-house training of the new installations, liaison with the central security team and project management, along with the witnessing, programming and reporting of the complete security installation.
